Supplication to Atisha

Most wondrous and excellent ocean of glory,

Bless me to perfect bodhichitta for all beings.

Descended from the royal lineage and learned in the five sciences,

You travelled to the glorious Land of Snows in accordance with the prophecy of Tara,

And, holding others dearer than yourself, accomplished their benefit.

Incomparable Atisha, I supplicate you.

Please bless me in this very moment

And dispel the suffering of beings right now.

Establish all beings on the true path of enlightenment,

And bestow the source of all benefit and bliss.

May happiness begin right now;

Bestow the source of bliss this very day.

May all the sufferings of samsara be defeated.

May all the obstacles to dharma be averted.

Bless me so that my activity is never apart from dharma.
